With this program, EPG homes will pay down your qualifying monthly interest rate by 2% in year one, and one % in year two, creating substantial, immediate, monthly savings for the customer. The total cost of the 2-year buy down is contributed to the borrower at closing and applied each month to your interest rate for the two years. If, as we believe, interest rates improve and you can refinance before the entire amount committed is used, the balance can be applied to the refinance rate or closing costs, or simply refunded to you, the homeowner.
